Artist: APPLES&CINNAMON

Eleanor Sim is a graphic designer based in Singapore. She graduated from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts with a BA (Hons) Graphic Communication in 2012 and is currently pursuing a BA (Hons) Arts Management in LASALLE. Under the moniker APPLES&CINNAMON, she has created a number of patterned works largely inspired by children’s stories, vintage book covers and thrift store finds. Her strong interest for textiles, various patterned and printed matter has been the motivation for creating new works. Like her brand name APPLES&CINNAMON, Eleanor’s patterned work composes of various complementing elements under one theme. By doing so, she aims to bring about imagination, creating whimsical ideas. One of her patterns from the Circus Circus series was featured by Noise Singapore 2014 at selected bus stop ad panels around the island.
